BEST BAR IN CANTON! and maybe anywhere. The music, whether live or from the jukebox, is always a highlight. They hire local bands and artists to perform on the weekends. It's a blast! The long, high oval bar gives off old-timey vibes and is perfect for socializing. Drink prices are awesome. Definitely the best price for a drink anywhere in town. Plus the food is amazing! Get the Hall of Flame burger if you haven't already. The burger of the month is usually a home run too. Pretzel bites, fried pickles, milkshakes, cheese curds... it's all good. Tip your servers well because they work hard!

I want to give a huge shout out to the bartender working there named Josh. I've come in to see him working every position in the place from working in the kitchen, waiting tables, and GRINDING it out behind the bar. He is always fun to interact with and does not even seem to stop for a smoke break until he's checked on everyone he's serving. You don't even want to leave when he's taking care of you because of his warm and friendly demeanor. I wish I could say the same about the bartender Rachel who seems normally more interested in her phone and hanging out near the kitchen with friends for large segments at a time before making a round. It was so bad in recent weeks that I ended up leaving instead of ordering another round of drinks because I could not get service without being loud and obnoxious about it. If this review was about her specifically the rating would be much lower. To the owners: Please encourage your front of house staff to emulate Josh's work ethic and give that man way more hours (and pay!) then he's currently getting.

Had the server named Tess, made my night very nice as they were polite and the service they provided felt like someone who actually cares for the customer. Food was good a particular favorite is the homemade chips and fried pickles, would recommend this location for small group get togethers or a nice spot to catch up with friends.

Amazing burgers!! The staff there are so cool. This is a great place to get really good food and really good service. If you ever go to downtown Canton, this is a MUST to stop at and get some food and beer.

Great local bar in downtown Canton! Burger Wednesday is a must if you want to opportunity to eat great burgers at a fantastic price. Bartender were extremely welcoming and attentive. The bar itself was clean, atmospheric and easy to locate. Will absolutely be back to try other daily specials and check out their live music night!

Fun place! Highly recommend the burgers! Check them out on Wednesday's. Drinks, milkshakes, small plates, good stuff. Fun friendly staff!

First time in a long time at George's! Came in for the Burger of the Month with a Rolling Rock and a shot of Jameson before the Christmas tree lighting. George's on burger night hits me in all the nostalgic feels. Bartenders are elite. Looks like they have added more taps and have lots of local beers on tap. Don't go changing George's Lounge!!!

The diner reminded me of a old timer submarine in a sense that its elongated & compact, but that shouldn't stop you from a good time! The staff is super friendly, Tessera especially is bubbly, it felt like we were long lost friends! She showed me how to work the old juke box, a total blast from the past! The drinks & food were a big win too. My husband and I had a great time seeing our friends play live on stage. Great times to be had here! 💗

Very mellow, hole in the wall place. Eclectic mix of people but the vibe was very retro. Went for burger night and the burgers and hand-cut fries were amazing! Our waitress was a gem too. Would definitely be back next time we're in the area.

We LOVE George’s Lounge! The long oval bar can fit a ton of people, the character of the older building is on the walls, the vintage booths, and old school signs. The service was fast and friendly and the burgers, although not shown in my pictures, the burgers are to die for! Juicy- full of flavor and to add the fresh cut fries to the plate, perfection! Cheers!
